Version 1.0.0demo changelog:

• Outside starting area:

Wondered what there was before the tree? Wonder no more! A brand new tutorial area has been introduced!

• New speaker blocks:

Give them a try! They might give you some helpful advice.

All new levels! All the levels have also been updated based on previous feedback.

• New controls:

An all new character controller! Tell us what you think!

•  Bug fixes:

Basically the whole game has been rewritten from the ground-up, report any new pesky bugs you find around so we can crush them!

What's next?

This is the first patch of 3 that we plan on releasing before build on further. Stay tuned! As we have more to release soon.

Patch 2 (2.0.0demo) - New brand new levels with all new mechanics.
Patch 3 (3.0.0demo) - Anything else we feel is missing from the current product.

You let us know what sounded best for a title, and there's something wonderful about "Goopward".

We're making something that's a love letter to Cave Story, Kirby, and Yoshi's Island. Any retro and straightforward game that has held a place in our hearts. As we progress, we hope you'll watch and give feedback.
